Some stores to purchase cute but affordable jewelry at are Forever 21, H&M, Claire's, and American Eagle.

Hunting Season!!!

Hunting season is just around the corner, starting on Tuesday, October 1st! But before you go out into the woods, make sure you have on the proper attire! Jackets, sweatshirts, vests, gloves, hats, base layers, socks, bibs, and pants are just some of the articles of clothing that a good hunter should invest in during this time of the year. These clothing pieces come in a variety of types. Waterfowl, Upland, and Blazing Orange are a few.
Hunters who are really dedicated to this hobby go out any chance they get, so they know that they have to be ready for any type of weather condition Mother Nature decides to throw at them! That’s where the different styles of clothing for different weather conditions come in handy. Cold weather gear will come in handy for the chillier months. Rain gear is a must if you don’t want to end up soaking wet, when it is raining outside. Scent control clothing helps to mask any smell on you, so you wont scare away any near by animals. Lastly lightweight articles of clothing are worn during the months when the temperature outside starts to warm up, but is still too chilly not to wear a second layer. Make sure to get and wear the appropriate clothing articles for the days you are out hunting.
Where might you find these necessities? Gander Mountain, Cabelas, Bass Pro Shop, Legendary Whitetails, Under Armor, and Dicks Sporting Goods are stores and/or companies that carry a good selection of the items listed above. Some of the most popular brands for these items are Mossy Oak, Real Tree, Under Armor, and Browning. If you can’t make it to any of the stores listed above, you can always go directly to one of these companies’ sites, and order directly from them. They even have some pink camouflage clothing pieces for the girl hunters out there.

Dress- This short strapless dress has a stone applique waist, and lace bodice. The top of the dress has a sweetheart neckline with a sparkly lace bodice and a rhinestone applique trim around the waist of the dress. The skirt is a chiffon fabric that has is very flowy. This simple yet flirty dress comes from Deb, and costs $74.90.

Accessories- When you have a dress with a low sweetheart neck line, a good accessory to add is a big necklace. They come in many colors and styles, so it shouldn't be hard to find one that matched your dress. Also, if you have a plain or basic dress, an easy way to glam it up is by adding a bulky necklace. This once can be purchased from Deb for $15.50.

Outfit # 3:

Dress-High-low hem lines are a big thing this year. This dress showcases a sequined bodice with an exposed zipper down the front. The skirt has a solid underlay, with a slightly sheer overlay in the style of a high-low hem. You can get this stylish dress at Deb for $36.90.

Shoes- These patent round toe platform pumps are the perfect way to accessorize this busy dress. Since the dress has so much going on with the sequins, and the hem line, I recommend going for a shoe that is a little more simple but still has that Homecoming feel to them. Classic black heels will do just that. Get these at Deb for $29.90.

Accessories- A sparkling pair of dangling earrings will pull this whole look together. You can pick up this pair at Deb for $10.50.

DIY Fall Accessories

Have any old sweaters that you don’t wear anymore? Don’t want to get rid of them, but don’t know what to do with them? Instead of keeping them stashed in the back of your closet, re-invent your sweaters into something more useful! Scarves and leg warmers are two accessories that are key to making every outfit fit into the fall season. This diy is an easy way to re-use your old swearers so you don’t have to waste money buying new accessories for this fall!

What you’ll need:

  •       Old sweater
  •      Scissors

Scarf:

  1. 1. Lay out you sweater, flat and even, on a hard surface
    2. Start by cutting a horizontal line all the way across the sweater. Cut below the seams of the sweater, where the sleeves are attached. Make sure you cut through both layers of the sweater
    3. Take the separated, bottom piece of the sweater that you just cut off, and gather it together so you can wear it as an infinity scarf
    4. Pull/ stretch the scarf a little, so you can double the fabric and wear it around your neck

Leg Warmers:

1. Lay out your sweater, flat and even, on a hard surface

2. Start by cutting the sleeves off of your sweater. Cut below the seams of the sweater where the sleeves attach to the body of the sweater, so you leave the seems attached to the body of the sweater

3. Take the sleeves, and slide them onto your legs, over a pair of jeans or leggings. Make sure the end you cut is tucked into your boot, and not sticking out
4. Put on a pair of boots over the leg warmers, but make sure about 2 or 3 inches of the leg warmers are sticking out above the top of your boots
