Are designer bags really worth what they cost?

Are designer bags really worth the money you spend on them? Walking around with a Michael Kors purse, or a Prada clutch might be something every girl dreams of, but its not realistic. There are plenty of stores that sell bags that are extremely similar to the high designer ones, for much less money. And you probably wouldn't even be able to tell the difference!
Here are some good examples of designer bags, versus some bags that are much affordable yet still have that high end look.

Saint Laurent

Sac De Jour Small Calf Hair Carryall Bag, Black

$3690.00

Merona
Pebble Fallon Tote, Black
$34.99
Target

*Both of these bags offer a longer strap, if you desire to carry the tote over your shoulder as well as the double shorter straps. Both bags are big enough to carry all of your necessities plus some! The only difference being the brand label on the bags, and the price of course!*

Valentino

Rockstud Small Patent Chain Pochette Bag, Black

$895.00

Studded Shoulder Bag
$29.95
H&M

*Both of these bags are over the shoulder, long strapped purses. They both have the same studded design around the outer part of the bag, so both are just as in style.*

Louis Vitton
$5900.00

 Imitation leather handbag
$24.95
H&M

*The Louis Vitton bag might be real leather but the bag from H&M is much more affordable because it is imitation leather. You can't tell the difference, and both have the option of the two different length handles.*

$2495.00

Glittered Diamond clutch

*These two clutches are extremely similar when it comes to what they look like. Both are slim, black, and covered with somethings sparkly. There is a big  price difference though, over $2000!*
